BEHAVIOUR MENTOR – East & North London

Do you have the ability to make an impact in the life of a child from a disadvantage background?

* £80-£100 per day

* Behaviour Mentor – East & North London

* AWR compliant rates of pay

* Full time position

Requirements

* Immediate right to work in the UK

* Experience of working with students with SEND within a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) setting, or within a mainstream school

* A patient and understanding approach

* A flexible approach

* Excellent communication skills

* Existing DBS check on the update service

* Experience of augmentative and alternative communication (PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Rapid Prompting Method) are beneficial, but not essential

Responsibilities

* To work alongside the class teachers to ensure the school behaviour policy is adhered to

* Be aware of, and remain responsible for all safeguarding of pupils within your care

* Work collaboratively with both teaching and support staff to ensure best outcomes for students

* Foster the students independence

* Promote wellbeing and good welfare
