Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher (Must hold QTS / QTLS), for a secondary school based in Worcester. This is a full time temporary role to start September 2024.

You will be working in a forward-thinking school who are committed to providing exceptional learning experiences. They emphasise the development of critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and knowledge of business in the real world to inspire and prepare their students for success.

As a Business Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons at key stage 3 and 4 in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills through practical business applications.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.
• Assess and monitor students progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the business studies curriculum and participate in school activities.

Qualifications & Requirements of Business Studies Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Business Studies, or a related field
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching business studies at key stage 3 and 4.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning process.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
• Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
• Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
