Key Responsibilities of a Construction Tutor:

  • Deliver practical and theoretical construction training to students, covering a wide range of skills such as carpentry, bricklaying, metal work, woodwork, and general DIY
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations and supervise learners in practical activities
  • Assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and ensuring they meet industry standards
  • Ensure a safe and productive learning environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Support and mentor students to build confidence in their construction skills, preparing them for careers in the industry
