Career Teachers are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Burton-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience, support students, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. Using pre-prepared lesson materials, you will support learning and maintain a structured, positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons across multiple subjects in a secondary school setting.
  • Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment.
  • Motivate and support students in their educational progress.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure continuity in learning.

  • Previous experience working with young people.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
  • A confident and positive attitude towards education and learning.
