**About the Role:**
As a Drama Teacher, you will have the opportunity to unleash the creativity and talent of students in Derby. You will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic drama lessons that captivate student’s imaginations and foster their confidence. From exploring classic plays to devising original performances, you’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of performers and storytellers.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons tailored to the needs of students.
– Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued.
– Develop student’s performance skills, confidence, and creativity through a variety of theatrical activities.
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
– Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the school’s drama curriculum and extracurricular activities.

**Requirements:**
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
– A passion for drama and a commitment to inspiring students.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong organisational abilities and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
– Experience working with students aged 11-18 is desirable.
