We are seeking a qualified, passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join the team at a lovely Primary School in Knottingley. The role is offered as a full-time position for 1.5 terms with a good chance of extension. You will play a crucial role in supporting children in the Reception class, helping them to thrive in their educational environment.

The successful candidate must:

  • Be an excellent classroom support assistant, in terms of supporting special needs children, creatively organising the learning environment and leading groups of children through play
  • Have high expectations and a commitment to raising standards and achievements
  • Have recent experience supporting teaching and learning in Early Years and Key Stage 1
  • Have a secure knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Framework
  • Be passionate about the development of the whole child
