Exams Officer

Career Teachers are currently recruiting experienced Exams Officers to start as soon as possible.

We are looking to appoint passionate and dedicated Examinations Officers who are ideally looking for long-term work and available to start as soon as possible, to meet the high demand for our schools. We work with a wide variety of Secondary Schools in the Birmingham and surrounding areas.

We are extremely busy with requests from our schools with the flexibility of working around your commitments with short-term and long-term assignments available, with some leading to permanent contracts.

As an exams officer, you will be required to oversee all aspects of examinations management including day to day administration and organisation of exams, overseeing the smooth running of mock and GCSE examinations, coordinating, and leading a team of invigilators including the recruitment, training, and management of staff.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.

Requirements for Examinations Officer:

• Recent experience as an examinations officer / manager within a school or college environment
• Knowledge of examination procedures and regulations
• Excellent administrative skills
• Right to work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
• Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
• Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
