Job Title: Experienced Nursery Practitioner

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £12-£13 per hour (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced Nursery Practitioner looking for a rewarding role in early childhood education? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and help provide exceptional care and support to young children in our nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children’s development across all areas, including physical, emotional, social, and cognitive domains.

– Establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

– Conduct ongoing observations and assessments to track children’s progress and tailor activities to meet their individual needs and interests.

– Collaborate with parents/carers to share information, provide support, and ensure continuity of care between home and nursery.

– Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

– Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator, with a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

– Minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (Level 3 desirable).

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and colleagues.

– A nurturing and compassionate approach to childcare, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being.

– Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to participate in training and learning opportunities.
