We are seeking to appoint a committed and versatile Food Technology & Design and Technology Teacher to join our faith school in the London Borough of Redbridge on a 1‑year fixed‑term contract. This post is 0.8 FTE, with the possibility of becoming full‑time for a candidate willing to teach a second subject.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Food Technology up to GCSE level
• Demonstrate flexibility across Design & Technology and Food Technology
• Deliver engaging, well‑planned lessons that inspire and challenge students
• Contribute positively to a caring, values‑driven school community
• Uphold and support the ethos of a faith‑based school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in Food Technology
• The ability to teach across DT disciplines
• A passion for inclusive, high‑quality teaching and learning
• Effective classroom management and organisational skills
• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
