We are working with an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ SEN School in East Barnet, that offers a nurturing and supportive environment dedicated to the education and personal growth of pupils aged 11-16. All of our students have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) in the Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) category. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners while fostering their passion for food technology.

The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Teacher of Food Technology to join our dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in delivering an engaging and inclusive curriculum, tailored to the unique needs of our pupils. As part of our small provision, you will have the chance to build strong relationships with students and contribute to a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver innovative lessons in Food Technology that inspire and motivate students.
  • Support the academic and personal development of pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the National Agency for the Recognition of International Qualifications (NARIC).
