Geography Teacher - Career Teachers

Career Teachers are currently supporting a mainstream secondary school in Salford who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Geography to join their team from September 2024, on a permanent basis.

The school are seeking an ambitious and committed Geography Teacher who can make a substantial impact on their continuous improvement. They are looking for candidates with a passion for Geography and the ability to deliver an innovative curriculum at key stages 3 and 4.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following characteristics:

● Evidence of good quality teaching and subject knowledge

● a commitment to high standards and outcomes

● an understanding of how to use assessment to inform planning for excellent teaching and learning

● the ability to differentiate materials to meet the needs of the learners

● evidence of good classroom management skills

To be considered, you must have a teaching qualification, hold Qualified Teacher Status, and have Geography teaching experience across key stage 3 and key stage 4. ECT’s will be considered. You must also have right to work in the UK.
