Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher (Must hold QTS / QTLS), for a secondary school based in Worcestershire. This is a full time temporary role to start September 2024.

As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons at key stage 3 and 4 in accordance with the national curriculum. The ideal candidate will bring the world into the classroom, making geography engaging, developing exciting lesson plans, that cover a variety of topics which effect the world we live in.

Qualifications & Requirements of Geography Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Geography, Humanities, or a related field
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of geography concepts and teaching methodologies at key stage 3 and 4.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning process.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
• Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
• Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
