The ideal Geography Teacher will have:

  • A PGCE and QTS with a specialism in Geography or a related subject
  • A strong track record of delivering engaging and effective Geography lessons
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A creative and reflective practitioner who is eager to contribute to the department’s success

About the role:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Foster a love for Geography, encouraging curiosity about the world and its complexities
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that meet the needs of all learners, ensuring excellent progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of Humanities colleagues to develop innovative and engaging curriculum content
  • Play an active role in the wider school community, participating in extracurricular activities and departmental initiatives
