Career Teachers are supporting the Headteacher of a secondary school in Manchester who wish to appoint a Head of MFL (French & Spanish) to join their school from January 2025 on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be:

  • An experienced MFL Teacher or Leader (French and/or Spanish) with a PGCE and QTS
  • Innovative, diligent, flexible and with a drive for improvement
  • A dedicated team player who develops excellent relationships with pupils and staff alike
  • Professional, always leading by example
  • Fully supportive of the positive ethos of the school and a willingness to contribute to wider school life, for example, through extracurricular activities
  • Willing to participate in personal continued professional development.
  • A permanent UK resident with valid right to work

The successful Teacher will assume overall responsibility for leading the quality of education in MFL. You will lead a team of subject specialist teachers, providing leadership and support to enable them to thrive in their roles, develop professionally and effectively contribute to the school’s core purpose.
