Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Part-Time – September Start!!

Location: Ripley, Derbyshire
Start Date: 4th September 2024
Duration: Until the end of the academic year – July 2025
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team and support a fantastic primary school in Ripley, Derbyshire. This part-time role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners, working three days a week from Tuesday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education
– Leading small group sessions and interventions
– Assisting in planning and preparing learning materials
– Providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs
– Encouraging and fostering a positive learning environment
– Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
– Collaborating with staff and parents to support student progress

Requirements:
– HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
– Previous experience working in a primary school setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Passion for education and making a difference in students’ lives
