Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant primary school in Ripley, Derbyshire. This part-time position starting September 2024 until the end of the academic year, is an excellent opportunity for a committed individual to make a significant impact in the lives of students.

Working Days:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Pay:
£98 – £115 per day, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide high-quality support to teachers and students across various subjects and activities.
– Assist in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that learning objectives are met.
– Lead small group interventions and one-on-one support sessions to address specific learning needs.
– Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
– Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress.
– Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualised learning plans.

Requirements:
– Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
– Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
– Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
