A vibrant and supportive secondary school in Hackney is seeking a reliable and proactive IT Technician to join the team on a temporary cover basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid foundational IT skills who enjoys working in a school environment and supporting staff and students.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure Windows operating systems and software applications
Reset account passwords and update user group memberships
Carry out classroom IT upkeep
Provide friendly, efficient first‑line support across the school
Requirements
Strong understanding of basic IT support tasks
Ability to troubleshoot common hardware and software issues
Confident working independently in a busy school environment
Must be available to start immediately
Role Details
Location: Hackney
Hours: 7:30am-16:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary cover (not a permanent position)
