Key Stage One Primary School Teachers | North London

At Career Teachers, we work with Primary Schools and Nursery Schools in North London Boroughs of Enfield, Hackney and Harringey who are looking for the following:

  • Year 1 Class Teachers (Full Time)
  • Year 2 Class Teachers (Full Time)
  • Daily Supply Teachers (Ad Hoc available)

Currently, there is work for

  • Long-term contracts; full time
  • Short-term contracts; full time
  • Daily Supply Primary Teacher Roles; Monday-Friday
  • Possibility for Permanent Roles

For this role of a KS1 Primary School Teacher, you would need to

  • Hold an undergraduate degree and UK QTS
  • Have recent and relevant teaching experience in the UK showcasing sound knowledge of the National Curriculum (2014), specifically in KS1
  • Be confident to teach Phonics, and be able to deliver Phonics through a range of schemes such as Letters and Sounds or Read Write Inc
  • Be able to plan lessons appropriately which link to the KS1’s statutory curriculum statements
  • Have the ability to differentiate and plan engaging lessons for KS1 children
  • Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
  • Be a warm and approachable character as you will be interacting with children, staff and parents
  • Have excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
  • Have an Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service
  • Provide two references, from within the last two years
