Key Stage 1 Teacher – Doncaster (DN5)

Hours: 8am – 3:30pm 3 Days Per Week (Part Time)
Start Date: 4th November 2024
Pay Rate: £120 – £170 per day (Dependent on Experience)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) teacher looking for a rewarding, long-term opportunity in the DN5 area of Doncaster? Career Teachers is seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join a friendly, supportive primary school on a full-time basis.

Job Responsibilities:

* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential.
* Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and senior staff.
* Support the emotional and social development of students, fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere.
* Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, parent consultations, and school events.
* Ensure that safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.

Skills and Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1) students, ideally within a UK school setting.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
* Experience in teaching phonics, with a strong understanding of Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach, with a commitment to the overall well-being of pupils.
* Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
