**Position:** Reception/Year 1 Teaching Assistant

**Location:** Ofsted rated “Good” Primary School in Doncaster (DN5 area)

**Duration:** Monday, April 15th to July 2024

**Salary:** £85 – £95 per day

**Role and Responsibilities:**
– Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for Reception and Year 1 students.
– Support individual students or small groups in reinforcing learning concepts and addressing their educational needs.
– Contribute to classroom management and behavior management strategies to promote a positive and respectful learning environment.
– Collaborate with colleagues to plan and prepare engaging lessons and learning materials.
– Provide feedback on student progress and assist in identifying areas for additional support or intervention.
– Assist with administrative tasks and the organization of classroom resources.
– Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members to support the overall well-being of the school community.
– Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

**Skills Required:**
– Previous experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and the school environment.
– Basic knowledge of child development and educational principles.
– Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
– Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or equivalent, would be advantageous.
