Career Teachers is recruiting a dedicated Primary Teacher to cover PPA at a lovely Junior and Infant School in Pontefract WF9. This school is vibrant and inclusive and is committed to providing a high-quality education for all pupils. They are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA Cover Teacher to join their team and support the school mission to foster a love for learning. This position is open to ECTs and would be great opportunity to gain confidence in the classroom across the year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach lessons prepared by class teachers across various subjects and year groups.
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, ensuring all pupils are engaged and motivated.
• Monitor and support the academic and social development of pupils during PPA cover sessions.
• Work closely with class teachers and other staff members to ensure continuity and progression in pupil’s learning.
• Be flexible in covering different classes and subjects as needed, ensuring a seamless transition for pupils.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching across different key stages is desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and subjects.
