Career Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join the dynamic team of a lovely Primary Academy in Wakefield. The school is located halfway between the city of Wakefield and the town of Huddersfield, and is 3 miles south east of Dewsbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge their pupils. You will play a key role in supporting the academic and personal development of their students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
• Engage with parents and carers to support pupil learning and well-being.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities.
