Key Skills Required:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
* Thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum, including SATs preparation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to engage and motivate students through innovative teaching methods
* Strong classroom management skills
* Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaboration skills, willing to work closely with colleagues and parents

Role and Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that are tailored to the needs and abilities of KS2 students
* Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and academic growth
* Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
* Prepare students for KS2 assessments, including SATs, through effective teaching and targeted intervention where necessary
* Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and activities
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and fostering positive home-school relationships
