A Secondary School in Oldham that is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for their students are seeking a compassionate and skilled Learning Support Assistant to support their teachers and enhance the educational experience for their students on a permanent basis starting in September 2024.
This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in young learner’s lives throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing educational activities and lessons
  • Provide individualised support to students to ensure all students can participate fully in classroom activities
  • Supervise students in various settings including the classroom, playground, and during field trips
  • Help prepare instructional materials and classroom displays.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as attendance recording and maintaining student records
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and social development of all students
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to support student learning and well-being
