An exciting opportunity has opened up at a secondary school in Crewe for a Learning Support Assistant, to join the team on a permanent basis.
As a Learning Support Assistant, no two days are the same. The role can be both challenging and rewarding and you will need to be proactive and motivated to effectively identify and support student’s needs.

An ideal Learning Support Assistant will have excellent teamwork and communication skills, a genuine interest in working with young people, flexible thinking, a willingness to learn and above all be caring, patient and resilient.

Key responsibilities;

• Work on a one-to-one and group basis to identify and support student’s needs
• Support students with their mental health, well being and inclusion
• Support students in their academic achievement
• Work alongside class teachers and also within the Learning Support Hub
• Providing support inside and outside of the classroom
• Support students with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities

This school provides secondary education to over 1200 students aged from 11 to 18.
