Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated professional to join a top-rated primary school in Clapham, South London. This full-time position is available immediately.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will collaborate with class teachers to help students reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include working one-on-one or in small groups with children who have special educational needs, such as ASD, ADHD, and other learning challenges. Day-to-day tasks involve assisting with classroom activities, implementing individual education plans (IEPs), and providing emotional and behavioural support.
We are looking for candidates with a background in childcare or educational settings, including roles like babysitting, tutoring, coaching, or summer camps. Experience with SEND children is essential. Applicants must have:
