Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a highly respected specialist school supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about transforming the lives of vulnerable young people and committed to promoting independence, confidence, and wellbeing.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Work closely with students with autism on a 1:1 basis and within small group settings.
• Support personalised learning programmes tailored to meet individual needs.
• Promote engagement, positive communication, and emotional regulation.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and pastoral teams.
• Create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Experience supporting individuals with additional needs (autism is essential).
• A patient, resilient and caring nature.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
• Availability Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, term time only.
