Level 3 TA – Enfield

To work with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing specialist support to the teacher in an aspect of the curriculum, age range or additional needs.

  • Provide learning activities for individuals and groups of pupils under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher, differentiating and adapting learning programmes to suit the needs of allocated pupils.

  • Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment as agreed with the teacher.

  • Monitor and record pupil responses and learning achievements, drawing any problems which cannot be resolved to the attention of the teacher.

  • Plan and evaluate specialist learning activities with the teacher, writing reports and records as required.

  • Select and adapt appropriate resources/methods to facilitate agreed learning activities.

  • Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate.

-You will need to have sound knowledge and understanding of Development Matters (2021)
-Experience of working or interacting with children within EYFS or KS1
-Have a Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development or relevant Early Years Qualification is essential for this role
-Have previous employed or voluntary work experience within a school or nursery setting is essential
-Be proactive, supportive, nurturing, empathetic and friendly
-Display clear and strong communication skills
-Speak fluent English
-Have Grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths
-Have an Enhanced Child Only DBS on the DBS Update Service
-Provide 2 references from within the past 2 years
