**Join Our Team as a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant with SEN Experience in Sheffield**

Are you a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Career Teachers is seeking a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to join our team in Sheffield, starting after Easter. This full-time, long-term position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with SEN.

**Job Specification:**

**Role and Responsibilities:**

– Provide support and assistance to students with SEN, both in individual and small group settings.
– Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
– Implement strategies and interventions to support student learning and development.
– Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
– Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
– Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and achievements.
– Support students with personal care and mobility needs, if required.
– Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

**Skills and Experience Required:**

– Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
– Previous experience working with students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of students with SEN.
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students.
– Knowledge of SEN strategies, interventions, and resources is desirable.

**Pay Range:** £85 – £100 per day
