Are you keen to support SEN Primary aged children in Early Years, KS1 or KS2?

If your answer is yes to these questions, then this role of a SEN Primary Learning Support Assistant is for you!

Our Primary Schools in boroughs of North London are seeking high quality, proactive and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to work full time, to embed stability and consistency for SEN children they have in their school.

At Career Teachers, we are continuously looking for SEN LSA’s who are ready and willing to commit to a full-time role.

For this role of a SEN Learning Support Assistant:

-You will need to have some knowledge and understanding of Development Matters (2021) and the National Curriculum (2014), including P Scales
-Experience of working or interacting with SEN children
-Have a Level 2 or 3 in SEN or Child Care is desirable
-Have previous employed or voluntary work experience within a school setting is desirable
-Be proactive, supportive, patient, nurturing, empathetic and friendly
-Be adaptable and prepared to support with personal care if required, this is not always needed but it depends on the age and needs of the individual child
-Display clear and strong communication skills
-Speak fluent English
-Have Grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths
-Have an Enhanced DBS on the DBS Update Service
-Provide 2 references from within the past 2 years
