We have had a brand new role come in for a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher to work in a highly desireable Secondary School based in Sheffield City Centre.

The role would require the selected candidate to cover all aspects of Key stage 3 & 4 Mathematics modules as well as a knowledge of key A-Level based modules. A knowledge of Mathematics within the engineering curriculum would also be advantageous.

This is a full-time, long term role due to start in September 2025 with interview and assessment days being held before the end of the academic year.

Requirements:

QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification.
Relevant experience as a Maths Teacher within the key stage 3 & 4 levels.
Knowledge of key stage 5 Maths within Engineering would be advantageous.
Flexible, committed, motivational and passionate about teaching.
A current DBS on the Update Service or is willing to complete a new one.
Able to easily commute to Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and comprehensive Maths lessons to students.
The ability to teach all aspects of Maths in simple terms to allow easy understanding.
Create a supporting and inclusive learning environment.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum.
Maintain classroom standards in line with current school policies.
Cover a range of other subjects where required.

Daily rates of pay vary dependent on experience between £130 to £200.

This is a flexible role with both full-time and part-time positions available – meaning, you have full control of when you are looking to work and how many hours you want to complete.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
