Salary: £140-£220 per day (dependent on experience)

Career Teachers are looking to appoint a committed and confident Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the S5 area of Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled educator who is passionate about delivering high‑quality Maths teaching and raising attainment across KS3 and KS4.

About the Role

We are seeking a teacher who can deliver engaging and well‑structured Maths lessons, maintain high behaviour expectations and inspire students to achieve strong outcomes. You will be responsible for:

• Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Planning and delivering clear, accessible and creative lessons
• Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback
• Supporting pupils with differing abilities, including SEND learners
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom routines
• Working collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom‑management skills
