The Head of Early Years at an independent preparatory school in Wilmslow wishes to appoint a Nursery Nurse to join their team as soon as possible.

This is an outstanding place to work. The buildings, the surroundings, the facilities, the staff, and of course the children are all amazing! The Early Years department has embraced the Danish way of living, which is known as Hygge (pronounced hue-guh). It’s a word used to promote a feeling or moment, ordinary or extraordinary as cosy, charming or special. It’s about creating learning environments that promote emotional well-being, togetherness and friendship.

The Head of Early Years is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Nursery Nurse to work in their early years provision with children aged 0 to 5. You must hold a Level 2 or level 3 early years qualification. You will work 40 hours per week, four x 10 hour shifts with a day off each week, either 7.30 – 5.30 or 8.00 – 6.00 and this would be on a half termly rota.

This outstanding prep school has a fantastic offering –

  • over 8 acres of beautiful grounds with outdoor classrooms, a wildlife pond and forest school provision within the woodland areas
  • outstanding facilities across the whole school
  • Staff BBQ/picnics
  • Xmas parties
  • Summer Balls
  • Comedy Nights
  • Auctions – they have funded a state of the art science lab and they donate a % to charity

This is a superb opportunity for a qualified and experienced Nursery Nurse who wishes to work in the very best of environments with a wonderful community of staff, parents, and pupils.

If you are a level 2 or level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse seeking a new opportunity in the Wilmslow area, please apply today and we will be in touch to discuss this role in further detail.
