**About the Role:**
As a P.E. Teacher at our esteemed school in Derbyshire, you will play a vital role in nurturing student’s physical development and promoting a healthy lifestyle. You will deliver dynamic and engaging P.E. lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students. From team sports to individual fitness activities, you will inspire a love for physical activity and in still important values such as teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Plan and deliver high-quality P.E. lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel motivated and supported.
– Assess student’s progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their development.
– Organise extracurricular sports clubs and events to encourage student participation and foster a sense of community.
– Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning opportunities and holistic student development.
**Requirements:**
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
– Proven experience in teaching P.E. to students of varying ages and abilities.
– Strong knowledge of sports and fitness principles, techniques, and safety procedures.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
– A commitment to promoting the importance of physical activity and healthy living.
