Pastoral Worker

We are looking for a Pastoral Worker for a secondary school to start ASAP on a long term basis. It’s full time at s school in Leeds and is covering a long term sick.

The role mostly will mostly comprise of responding to requests for support in relation to behaviour and other pastoral needs. These could include:

• Requests to access to the toilet – collecting students from lessons, supervising them and returning them settled to lesson.
• Supporting students who are removed from lessons and are struggling to regulate so they are ready to enter classroom or go to the next lesson.
• Attending medical requests (attending only and seeking advice if needed – not administering any first aid)
• Passing communications to the pastoral team
• Monitoring the online behaviour platform to respond to behaviour incidents/requests for support.
• Collecting students and taking them to isolation.
• Break and lunch duties
