Career Teachers are supporting the Headteacher of a primary SEN School in Manchester who wish to appoint a Class Teacher to join their outstanding school from Easter 2024 or September 2024 on a permanent basis.
The school caters for children aged 3 to 11 years who have significant, profound and multiple learning difficulties, Autism and other associated learning needs. The facilities available at this provision are extensive and include a state of the art Hydropool and Sensory Rooms.
To be considered for this role, you will –
be a qualified primary teacher with a deep passion for supporting and teaching children who have additional needs
possess extensive knowledge of SEN
ideally have experience teaching in a specialist school
have experience of using alternative communication methods such as PECS, Makaton or BSL
