Career Teachers are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant for an outstanding Primary school in Southeast London! We are seeking candidates with prior experience as a teaching assistant to work with 1:1 with SEND children on a full-time basis, beginning immediately.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers to ensure each child fulfils their potential. You’ll engage with students individually or in small groups, including those with additional learning needs such as ASD, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, and more.

Qualifications and Experience:

We’re looking for candidates with prior childcare or school-related experience – babysitting, tutoring, coaching, summer camps, teaching assistant roles, etc. Please note that for this role we require demonstrable experience working with SEND children or similar.

  • A valid and up-to-date Enhanced DBS, on the Update Service,
  • Valid Right to Work status in the UK,
  • And excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for education!
