We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving primary school in Sheffield from January 2025. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to inspire and educate young minds throughout the academic year.
Job Role and Responsibilities
* Plan and Deliver Lessons: Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans in accordance with the national curriculum.
* Assess and Monitor Progress: Regularly assess pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary to meet individual learning needs.
* Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes good behavior and respect among pupils.
* Differentiation: Tailor teaching methods and resources to accommodate the diverse abilities and learning styles of all pupils.
* Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of pupils.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of pupils’ progress, attendance, and any relevant issues, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
* Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational best practices.
Skills and Experience Required
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching degree.
* Experience: Proven experience teaching at the primary level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners, with a commitment to their academic and personal development.
* Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and abilities of pupils.
* Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a busy classroom and plan effective lessons.
* Team Player: A collaborative and flexible approach to working with colleagues and contributing to a supportive school environment.
