Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary SEN Teacher to work within a Specialist School for September 2025!

Position: Primary SEN Teacher
Location: Lewisham Borough
Start Date: September 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and Deliver Lessons: Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.
• Support Student Development: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and well-being.
• Monitor and Assess Progress: Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
• Classroom Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom.
• Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and contribute to school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: Proven experience in teaching at the primary level. SEN experience preferred.
• Education: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Skills: Strong communication, creativity, and classroom management skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for Education: A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
