Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher for a welcoming primary school in the S20 area of Sheffield. This is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP, with the potential to continue for the remainder of the academic year and beyond.

As a Reception Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting children at the beginning of their learning journey. You will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Create a nurturing, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Track pupil progress and maintain accurate records
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
• Foster curiosity, independence, and a love of learning

🎓 Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in Early Years / Reception (preferred but not essential)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A passionate, child-centered teaching approach
• Ability to adapt, be proactive, and work as part of a team
• A valid DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
