Year 3 Teacher – Primary School (DN5, Doncaster)

Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school located in the DN5 area of Doncaster. This full-time, long‑term role will begin ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is dedicated to delivering high‑quality learning experiences within Lower Key Stage 2.

About the Role

As the Year 3 class teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the full KS2 curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil progress. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing feedback and interventions where required
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Working collaboratively with phase colleagues and teaching assistants
• Communicating effectively with parents and staff
• Maintaining excellent behaviour management within the classroom
• Contributing to wider school life and supporting whole‑school initiatives

Skills & Experience Required

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of the Lower KS2 curriculum
• Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 3
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
• Ability to differentiate teaching to meet individual pupil needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, positive, and child‑centred approach
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
