School Business Manager – East London (Permanent)

Career Teachers is currently recruiting for a strategic and experienced School Business Manager to join a high-performing secondary school in East London. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible, overseeing key operational functions across the school on a permanent, all-year-round contract.

Areas of responsibility may include:
Finance
Facilities
Human Resources (HR)
IT Network
Catering
Data and Administration
Student Welfare and Communications & Marketing

Specification

• Degree in Business Management or Accountancy (or equivalent professional qualification)
• Minimum 2 years’ leadership experience in financial and/or business management
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple operational areas effectively
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
• Must be UK-based and eligible to work in the UK

You will have full responsibility for leading and developing the school’s operational services, contributing to the strategic direction of the school as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
