Career Teachers are currently recruiting for a School Finance Officer to join a welcoming and supportive school in South Sheffield on a full-time, temporary basis until the summer.

💼 The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a background in education to step into a key role supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the school.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing school financial transactions and records
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations
• Assisting with financial reporting
• Ensuring compliance with school finance policies and procedures
• Using school finance systems confidently and accurately

✅ Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have prior experience in a finance role (essential)
• Be confident using school finance systems (e.g. SIMS FMS, Access, Arbor, etc.)
• Have strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Be available full-time until the summer
