Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced School Science Technician
Career Teachers are looking to appoint experienced Science Technician for a North Birmingham based secondary school on a full-time temporary basis (term time only) starting September 2024.
Responsibilities of the role include:
As a science technician, you will be required to work as part of a team and report to the Senior Science Technician. Your duties will include preparation of stock solutions and maintaining glassware in classrooms, preparing practical lessons prior to lessons and delivering to the classrooms, general up-keep of Science Technician laboratory, carrying out regular health and safety checks on laboratories, preparation rooms and stores and provide technical support and health and safety advice to staff and students, assisting the administration team with ensuring all pupil data is kept up to date, implementing procedures and regulations involving safe disposal of waste material.
