The Permanent Recruitment Team at Career Teachers are currently supporting a mainstream school based in Didsbury, Greater Manchester. They are looking for a Science teacher, on a permanent basis, who is passionate about supporting KS3 and KS4 students, and is ideally able to teach up to A-level, allowing students to achieve their potential goals and aspirations.

The successful school is recognised by Ofsted as being a GOOD school, stating that they provide “strong care, guidance, and support”. They are the largest secondary mainstream school in Greater Manchester, offering a wide range of facilities, such as dedicated rooms for teachers to teach subjects such as Science, Technology, Art and Construction.

This large, diverse secondary school located in Didsbury are seeking a Science Teacher who has a real passion for Science and is dedicated and committed to achieving the best results across both key stages. Ideally, the successful applicant will be able to teach all three Science subjects, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

The Headteacher wishes to receive applications from Science Teachers who –

  • possess a PGCE and UK QTS
  • have a Science specialism degree
  • are able to evidence successful outcomes at KS4
  • are committed and passionate
  • are willing to contribute to the wider school life
