We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Burton upon Trent. As a Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and fostering a love for science among our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons to students in line with the curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the science department.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience for students.


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
