Career Teachers is seeking qualified QTS or PGCE Science Teachers to join schools in Sheffield and South Yorkshire for the new academic year. Positions are available for both full-time, long-term roles and part-time, day-to-day positions.

£110 – £180 per day.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a science subject with PGCE or QTS in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
  • Recent, relevant experience teaching science at key stage 3 & 4 levels
  • Flexibility, commitment, and passion for teaching
  • Current DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to commute to Chesterfield or South Yorkshire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resilience and adaptability to thrive in dynamic classrooms
