SEN Early Years Teacher

Location: Leeds

Duration: Ongoing, Full-time

Salary: £150 – £221 per day

We are currently working in collaboration with a highly regarded SEND school in the Leeds area, seeking an enthusiastic SEN Early Years Teacher for a full-time position. All students have a statement of Special Educational Need (SEN). The successful candidate for this role should have experience supporting learners with Autism, a positive outlook, and a strong work ethic. The responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Developing and delivering individualized lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of students.
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants to ensure effective classroom management.
  • Prioritizing the academic success and personal growth of each student.
  • Being a proactive and enthusiastic member of a dedicated team of educators.

Requirements:

  • You must have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering effective lessons.
  • Previous experience as a class teacher.
  • Recent, verifiable school-based references.
  • Valid Photo ID (e.g., Driving License or Passport).
  • A comprehensive DBS check, registered on the update service.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
