A well‑established alternative provision in South London is seeking a dedicated and skilled SEN Teacher to join their team from September. This position offers a temp‑to‑perm pathway and is ideal for an educator committed to supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs within a small, structured, and highly supportive environment.
Specialist teaching – Deliver high‑quality, differentiated lessons to small groups of learners with diverse SEN needs
Curriculum adaptation – Plan and implement personalised learning programmes aligned with individual EHCPs
Behavioural support – Apply consistent, restorative behaviour strategies to promote engagement and emotional regulation
Progress monitoring – Assess, record, and report on academic and personal development
Collaborative practice – Work closely with support staff, external agencies, and senior leaders to ensure cohesive provision
Safeguarding compliance – Uphold safeguarding procedures and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience working with SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision settings
Strong understanding of individualised learning approaches
Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour‑management skills
A calm, professional, and resilient approach to supporting vulnerable learners
