Career Teachers are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a Wakefield Primary School. This school has a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for all their students. They are committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential and they are looking for a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team.
The school has good public transport links and is not far from the centre of Wakefield.
They are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support a child with ADHD and ASD in a mainstream classroom on a 1:1 basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and the SENDCo to provide tailored support, ensuring the child can access the curriculum and thrive in the school environment. The child is in Year 3 but is working to Year 1 levels. Your support will be crucial to developing the child’s social and emotional skills as well as providing scaffolding for academic concepts, building the child’s confidence in a classroom environment.
